The UK Government has today instructed universities to reduce the number of students who will arrive on campus at the start of term in January 2021.
This announcement does not affect the date of the start of term at Royal Holloway, which remains Monday 11 January, and students should enrol and will be able to initially begin their course online on this date. However, the start of most face-to-face, on campus, teaching will be delayed. There will be a further Government review in mid-January.
We know that this may impact plans that our students might have to travel to campus. We are working through the information available to us and we will update our students again during w/c 4 January 2021.
