A revised outline planning application has been submitted to Runnymede Borough Council (RBC) in relation to the university’s proposals for a student village at Rusham Park in Egham.
The revised application reduces the scale of the development and seeks permission for the first phase of the development only. This phase is for up to 1,400 student study bedrooms and the supporting services required to meet resident student needs.
This application is supported by two separate applications; one for a variation to the use of the existing car park on the site, and the other to establish a Southern link road to allow for a shuttle bus service connecting Rusham Park with the existing campus.
The application is now being considered by RBC and is open for comments throughout October 2020. For further details visit Royal Holloway’s website.
