Thanh Pham has been appointed as the new Director and Supervising Solicitor of the Legal Advice Centre within the Department of Law & Criminology.
Thanh qualified as a solicitor in 2007. Prior to joining Royal Holloway, Thanh held positions at a distinguished law firm in Oxford and, most recently, within an international law firm in London.
Currently, Thanh overseas the operations of the Legal Advice Centre and leads a team of fifty undergraduate Student Advisors. This team is dedicated in providing free legal advice and information to the general public, with a particular emphasis on individuals facing financial constraints when seeking legal advice in contract/consumer, landlord & tenant and family law matters.
The Legal Advice Centre’s core objectives revolve around providing our undergraduate Student Advisors with opportunities to gain practical legal experience, improve their employability, and fostering a culture that promotes social justice.
