Around 13% of Royal Holloway students have a disability.
Over 1400 students at Royal Holloway have a disability, primarily dyslexia, dyspraxia or mental health issues.
Our Disability and Dyslexia Support Services ensure all students are supported during their time at university.
In September 2016 the government cut the Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and now Royal Holloway will take ‘primary responsibility’ for many areas of support.

“The Disability and Dyslexia services at Royal Holloway have really helped me settle into university. They have helped me become an individual I never thought I could be. From help with my DSA application, arranging reasonable adjustments for my exams to organising social groups for individuals, like myself, with any form of disability, they are always there.”
