A postgraduate degree in Earth Sciences leads to a diversity of career opportunities – in industry and the private sector, and also in universities and the public sector. 

We offer taught postgraduate MSc courses in Energy Geosciences, and Environmental Diagnosis and Management. These courses are supported by industrial studentships and have significant industrial involvement and support. They’re internationally acclaimed and provide excellent employment prospects. Our newest masters in Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology focuses on applying geological information in key areas and harnessing natural resources sustainably. We also offer an MSc in Earth Sciences by Research, where you’ll receive training in relevant skills and scientific knowledge.
