On the 19th of November 2024, members of our Department specialising in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) participated in a collaborative meeting with Blackrock's Aladdin group in the City of London. The event aimed to explore areas of mutual interest and explore the potential of cutting-edge AI and ML for practical applications.
The meeting brought together a diverse group of participants, including University staff and MSc students, along with attendees from Blackrock and representatives from other leading companies. Discussions ranged from advanced AI modelling and data-driven decision-making to generative AI agents and scalable AI techniques in finance and beyond.
The event provided an outstanding platform for knowledge sharing and networking, opening new opportunities for further exploration. We sincerely thank Blackrock's Aladdin group for hosting the meeting and look forward to continued collaboration with all attendees.
