Dr Queenie Chan was filmed in the lab at Queen’s Building in March discussing alien salt found in the Bennu asteroid sample for the latest edition of The Sky at Night on BBC Four.

BBC The Sky at Night came to Royal Holloway in March to interview Dr Queenie Chan from the Department of Earth Sciences. Queenie has recently been involved in the analysis of samples from the carbon rich asteroid Bennu brought back to earth by NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission, and the interview with her took place at the Astromaterials Lab in the Queen’s Building. The show aired on BBC Four at 9.30pm on Monday 8 April. The show is repeated on 11th April and on BBC iplayer.
