Judith Hawley, Professor of Eighteenth-Century Literature, is taking part in a series called ‘The Art of Intimacy’. She will be discussing Samuel Richardson’s highly influential novel, Pamela (1741) in the light of the debate provoked by the #METOO movement.
The discussion is led by Eimear McBride, author of A Girl is a Half-Formed Thing (2013) and focuses on understanding sexual consent.
