Dr Alexis Artaud de La Ferrière was recently invited to participate in a radio broadcast on France Culture. Interviewed by Sébastien de Courtois, Alexis talked about his recent work on the importance that the issue of Eastern Christian minorities occupies within French politics.

Reviewing this history from the Crimean War to the rise of Daech in Syria and Iraq, Dr Alexis Artaud de La Ferrière discussed the reasons why French foreign policy in the Middle East has long been preoccupied with the status of these minorities, as well as how their fate is periodically instrumentalised within French domestic politics.
