The Department of Law, Criminology and Social Work Scholarship Cluster aims to enhance the social wellbeing of its students by providing evidence-based research to inform learning and teaching practices within the department, the wider College and society.

As part of its commitment to the College’s ‘civic university’ agenda, the Cluster seeks to advance knowledge and learning about education and the policy environment needed to ensure education can inform and tackle social inequalities including producing graduates with the expertise and skills to succeed. The Cluster is led by Dr Rita D’Alton-Harrison.
