Professor Ravinder Barn delivered a keynote address at the 9th International Society for Child Indicators (ISCI) conference in Bhubaneshwar, India in February on the theme of ‘Global Justice and Child Well-Being. Ravinder also gave a lecture on the theme of ‘Child Rights, Disadvantage and Marginality’ at Jamia Millia Islamia university, Delhi and presented two papers on child well-being at the ISCI conference:

(i) Climate change, spatiality and intergenerational order: An exploration of children’s experiences of everyday life in Punjab and Kashmir, India’, with colleagues from the Panjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, India.

(ii) Children’s perceptions of safety and subjective well-being in the context of COVID-19, with colleagues at the University of Cape Town, and the Western Cape, South Africa.
