The experimental research, conducted by Criminology & Psychology graduate, Shahara Bari and supervisor Professor Rosie Meek, explores the impact of emotive music on financial decision making.
The original research was conducted as a final year Undergraduate dissertation, and was subsequently adapted by Professor Rosie Meek and Shahara Bari for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
Following the completion of the research, Shahara and Professor Meek worked collaboratively to navigate publication platforms for student research. The Journal of European Psychological Students (JEPS) is a peer reviewed journal which provides graduate students with the opportunity to disseminate research conducted during their studies. Miss Bari, who is now seeking to undertake postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology, says:
