Talk by Prof Peter Kropholler launches CANTA

The Centre for Combinatorial Methods in Algebra, Number Theory and Applications (CANTA), was launched through a series of talks on Wednesday 3rd June 2020.

This was the first day of the series and featured Prof Peter Kropholler (University of Southampton) and Leo Ducas, Researcher at CWI, Amsterdam.

Prof Brita Nucinkis who is the founding Director of the Centre, said, “We’re delighted that these two amazing talks attracted both members from the RHUL community as well as the international Algebra and Information Security communities. Nearly two-thirds of the audience tuned in from abroad – from Italy, Spain, Germany and Australia.”

The second day of the series features Prof Lillian Pierce from Duke University, who will speak at  4pm BST on Wednesday, 10th June 2020 (details here).
