Patsy Webb is a final year Media Arts student who studied Directing in her third year. After graduating, Patsy hopes to go into production so she can carry on making films every day.

In "The Betrayal" Charlie's life is turned upside down when he discovers his girlfriend Erin's double life.

 

This is a creative sound only piece showing the history/evolution of Rock music within a story of an old rock legend's memories. The rock legend is in hospital surrounded by his family as he drifts in and out of consciousness, taking us through the evolution of rock and roll, including his memories of the technology and popular sounds of the time periods.

Chloe has a strong interest in sound design and enjoys being creative when connecting sound with images. Chloe would love to be part of TV production and be involved in wildlife documentaries.

 

Ellie has created a sound only adaptation based on the Disney Pixar film UP! The scene she has chosen is one of her favourites as the old man makes the decision to break away from his current life he is unhappy with and drift away to a magical paradise.

Ellie is in her second year in Media Arts studying Producing and Sound Design. She wants to be a producer for music videos as music and filming creative videos are her two main passions. Ellie is also president of Reel Music Society and is in charge of organising/producing content for the society, and is involved with filming and editing of some of these videos.

Charles Barratt is an English-Taiwanese aspiring cinematography student with a great passion for visual storytelling, particularly through the use of framing and cinematic composition.

"No Answer" tells the story of a young man suffering from depression and his efforts to reconnect with his brother.

Hannah Naylor is a second year Media Arts student who has chosen to study documentary in her final year. She also has a strong interest in TV and editing, and has a passion for photography and publicity.

This documentary is a short piece on a singer/songwriter's creative, musical and personal journey. It's an upbeat and positive film which gives inspiration for song writers and film makers too.

Frederico is a first year student studying Film, Television and Digital Production.

A one minute video-portrait documentary that tells the life and criminal activity of a collector that works for rich Arabs in the district of Knightsbridge, in London.

Hallelujah

Directed by Jack Salvadori

Jacopo "Jack" Salvadori was a first year student studying Film, Television and Digital Production. In 2016, he became the president of the university's Film Society. Aiming to begin a career in the cinematic industry, he is looking forward to writing and directing more projects next year.

"Hallelujah" is a 2016 short movie written and directed by Jack Salvadori. The surrealist short film is paying homage to the great auteurs of cinema, while facing the struggles of an unconventional and grotesque love story. In the movie, filled with biblical symbols, the music is the real protagonist, as the songs employed combine the plot to an original and distinguished style.
