The School of Performing and Digital Arts at Royal Holloway welcomes applications for a full-time PhD scholarship for entry in 2020-21.

Applications are invited for doctoral projects that intersect with the main research priorities of the School. These priorities are:
- Arts and media heritage and archiving;
- Digital creativity in drama, media and music;
- Global/transnational displacement and culture;
- Inclusion and diversity in the media and performing arts.
The studentship includes a stipend at Research Council UK 2020-21 rates of £15,285 + £2,000 London weighting per annum (plus fees at home/EU rates of £4,407) for three-and-a-half years. Studentships can be either full- or part-time.
Applicants should have a good undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, and a Masters-level qualification or equivalent which meets AHRC requirements for research training. Candidates with relevant work/professional experience who are considering doing a PhD are also encouraged to apply.
