Presented by London Sinfonietta, the concert was ‘Schoenberg: Reshaping Tradition’. Professor Brown is author of Schoenberg and Redemption, a study of Schoenberg’s step into atonality in 1908, though on Sunday also spoke about the composer’s flirtation with film and wider impact on Hollywood film music.
