10th Hubbard Theory Consortium London Summer Programme in Condensed Matter Physics
To initiate and foster collaborations in the exciting area of strongly correlated quantum many body systems, the Hubbard Theory Consortium ’s Summer Programme ‘Condensed Matter Physics in the City’ aims to bring together condensed matter theorists and experimentalists from the UK and abroad.
Following on from successes of the last years, a new edition of the ‘Condensed Matter in the City’ summer programme has been scheduled for 2019. The events will take place at Bedford Square in central London, at Royal Holloway University of London, at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, and at Laboratories de Physique des Solides in Orsay. There will be a wide range of talks aimed at stimulating discussions between theorists and experimentalists.

There is no registration fee for the event. Please register here for event.
ICAM Junior Travel Award - deadline on 10 June. Please register here to apply for the ICAM Junior Travel Award.
Condensed Matter Physics in the City can fully fund about ten junior scientists from Europe to attend one week of the meeting and present their work. CMPCity and ICAM are committed to improving diversity in physics; we therefore particularly welcome applications from female scientists. For these purposes, junior scientist is taken to mean a student studying for their PhD or a Post Doc within two years of finishing their PhD, and preference will be given to people affiliated to one of the ICAM nodes (see http://icam-i2cam.org/index.php/branches/).
