Decarbonising Engineer’s Cottage

In the summer of 2024 we worked on a major building refurbishment as part of our net zero commitment. Find out more about our work on Engineers Cottage.

Work at Engineer’s Cottage, which started in August 2023, is now complete. The building, which forms part of the historic boiler house complex, is now the home to a host of impressive new music recording facilities.

Part of the works included replacing an old gas heating system with a new Air Source Heat Pump.

Engineer’s Cottage is opposite the Boiler House Café, which is already heated by an existing Ground Source Heat Pump.
