The courses are available to Home students and students from the EU who meet the English Language requirements.

Once you have completed your Foundation Year, there may be flexibility to move on to a degree in another department. For more detail, please see each individual course entry via the links above.
Guaranteed accommodation
As a student starting the Integrated Foundation Year with us in 2024, you will have guaranteed accommodation under the same terms as other new undergraduates, for both the academic year 2024 and for 2025.

International students
For international students, we offer an International Foundation Year, run by Study Group at the Royal Holloway International Study Centre. This option offers a combination of English language and study skills training. Upon successful completion, you may progress on to selected undergraduate degree programmes at Royal Holloway, University of London. The International Foundation Year is also open to all international students, including those from the EU who do not reach the English Language requirements for the Integrated Foundation Year.
Tuition fee reduction
Students taking the Integrated Foundation Year (starting in 2024) benefit from a 10% discount off the Year 1 tuition fee for their full degree.
