Rachel Burgess has been appointed as Interim Executive Director of Finance and will start her role on Monday 15 July 2024.
Burgess joined Royal Holloway over five years ago, initially as Head of Financial Control before progressing to Deputy Director of Finance (Operations).
As Interim Executive Director of Finance, Burgess will co-ordinate and support the work of the existing leadership team in the Finance directorate at Royal Holloway.
She will also lead and ensure momentum for work in key areas of Royal Holloway’s expenditure, development and financial stability as well as contributing to ongoing work on the University’s RH2030s strategy, continuing her excellent work on environmental, social and corporate governance work on behalf of the University.
