How accessible this website is
We are committed to producing an accessible site for all users. However, we are aware that there are some outstanding accessibility problems in certain case, and for particular activity types. Where possible, we are working with the creators of those activity types to resolve the issue.
We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible, we are working on these parts of the site and are committed to producing an accessible site for all users. Those parts with accessibility problems are as follows:
- When using a screen reader it may be difficult to identify exactly where some hyperlinks go just by using the link text.
- Some images do not have alternative text, these are not necessary to the operation of the website but may lead to confusion if viewed with a screen reader.
- The nested navigation elements may not be easy for people using a screen reader to understand.
- When using a screen reader it may be difficult to identify different elements on the page.
- Some videos may not have audio captions, text transcript or audio descriptions.
- Not all of the content is available when just a keyboard is used.
- Some tooltips disappear when the cursor moves, some tooltips are not always available for all icons.
- Not all of the PDFs and other documents currently meet the accessibility standards (see what we are doing to improve accessibility).
- When using a keyboard to navigate through some of the form input fields, they do not show when they are in focus.
