Tuition fee deposits

Undergraduates

If you are an International student who needs a Student visa to enter and study in the UK, you will need to pay the £3,000 or £10,000* tuition fee deposit before a Confirmation of Acceptance for Study (CAS) number can be issued. We recommend you pay the deposit as soon as possible, and at least three months before the start of your course. Your CAS number can only be issued during the six months before the start of your course.

You pay using your local currency here.

Your deposit will be taken as a payment towards your full fee payment or your first instalment.

If you have applied for one of our postgraduate degrees through an education agent and you reside outside the United Kingdom, EU, EEA, Switzerland, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, please make your deposit payment via our trusted partner, Study Group. A secure payment link and details of how to pay will be indicated in your offer letter.

Refunds

Your deposit will usually be non-refundable except in certain circumstances. Please look at our course deposits refunds policy for more information.

Tuition fee instalments

International students beginning a new course in September 2024 will have the option to pay their tuition fee in two equal instalments.

The first instalment must be paid in full before or at enrolment although we encourage you to make this payment before the CAS letter is issued. Fee payment to enrol for 2024/25 must be made by 23 September 2024 with the second payment due 13 January 2025.
