Events

Join us at our events for schools, colleges and individuals. All of our upcoming events can be found in the UniTasterDays section below.

We are currently taking bookings for the 23/24 academic year. Please note, this will be subject to staffing and room availability on our campus.

We deliver full and half-day campus visits (subject to availability) to enable students to experience university life and receive information, advice and guidance about higher education.

Campus visits will vary depending on the size of the group visiting, and room availability, but a typical visit will include:

  • An academic session (e.g. a subject taster workshop or a lab tour)
  • An Information, Advice, and Guidance session (e.g. about student finance)
  • A campus tour
  • A Q&A with our student ambassadors

*Please note due to room capacities we have a maximum of 120 per day for visits. If you exceed this number the groups will have to be split over multiple days.

To request a campus visit, please fill in our enquiry form. Note that this is subject to availability.

For other enquiries please contact us - schools@royalholloway.ac.uk

We have also developed a virtual campus visit. Students are able to experience our campus at their own pace and we can arrange a live element (such as a student ambassador Q&A), subject to availability.

We acknowledge the skills and independence developed by students completing the Extended Project Qualification and for many Royal Holloway Undergraduate courses, an EPQ will be taken into consideration and result in lower A-level grades being required for applicants. To watch and share our short video about the benefits of an EPQ, please click here.

Our EPQ visit days offer students the chance to learn research skills in an interactive session hosted by our librarians, as well as supervised use of our university library. Students can explore sources and supporting material for their projects while getting an insight into university level facilities. These visits are subject to the availability of our staff, and the best time for a visit would be between April, June & July 2023.

To enquire about an EPQ visit please contact us - schools@royalholloway.ac.uk
