Decolonial Futures: Centering African and Feminist Epistemologies
This interactive and online workshop will foreground the groundbreaking work of Professor Shose Kessi and Professor Floretta Boonzaier.
Specifically the workshop will highlight their book Pan-Africanism and Psychology in Decolonial Times (2021) and their article Centre/ing decolonial feminist psychology in Africa (2018).
The workshop is primarily aimed at persons who identify as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour, this includes those who are of mixed ethnicity, belong to the global majority, or experience racialisation and racial oppression. However, the session is open to all members of the Techne cohort.
