Please note that the rooms listed as not currently final, as we might make some minor amendments once we have a better sense of the sign up rates for each workshop and/or panel.
If you need these documents in an alternate format for accessibility reasons, please do let the Techne Team know so this can be provided.

Other Activities / Exhibitions:
'The Object of Research' Exhibition:
Wolfson Space - Available Throughout the Congress
Open to all techne Congress attendees, UAL staff and students and the general public. This exhibition is about making research visible in multiple ways. A group of techne-funded PhD students worked collectively to make an exhibition exploring creative research practices. The project began with a visit to LCF’s Archive Learning Studio where the group spent time with collection objects with Congress themes in mind: craft, ecology, unsee histories, and diasporic and indigenous knowledges. Responses have been made and put in the gallery to be further responded to."
10 Minute CV Clinics:
During the reception at the end of Day 1, Darcey Gillie (our Career Development Programme) will be available to offer a rapid-fire feedback discussion with you on your CV. These sessions will last for 10 minutes, and all you will need is a copy of your CV (either printed or on a laptop / tablet). There's no need to sign up, just drop-in!
Postcards
We want to know how Congress is going for you. Please collect postcard material from the Exhibition space at the Wolfson Space so you can let us know your thoughts on Congress activities by posting it in the post box in the exhibition. This activity offers limitless cards (using recyclable material from the LCF print room) and will be anonymous.
Poster Exhibition:
Spotlight your research to your fellow students via an electronic poster. You are invited to send us a single PowerPoint slide about your research, or some aspect of it, which will then be displayed on screens throughout the venue.
If you would find it helpful, Dr Bob Whalley from UAL has created a Poster Presentations Guide, which is available on request.
The deadline to submit your poster is 18 December 2024.
Around the Block - an Electroacoustic Composition:
Student organiser Julia Schauerman has created a piece of audio work, drawn from field recordings made when travelling to and being near the London College of Fashion, East Bank during September - December 2024. You can access the material via QR codes which will be available throughout the Congress venue.
